David Stoker, MD, earned his undergraduate degree from Stanford University and his medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco. A standout in college and medical school, Dr. Stoker earned recognition for his excellence in the form of research grants and membership to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Stoker did his general surgery residency at the New York University (NYU) Medical Center and his plastic surgery residency at the Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at the NYU School of Medicine. During his training at the Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery and Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital, Dr. Stoker learned from some of the country's most renowned plastic surgeons.
Dr. Stoker has published numerous articles for medical journals and has written several textbook chapters. He also has served as a course instructor for colleagues at meetings of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Dr. Stoker is a clinical faculty member at the University of Southern California's Keck School of Medicine and is affiliated with four Southern California hospitals.
