Richard Greco, MD, FACS, graduated summa cum laude from Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pennsylvania, and earned his medical degree from Thomas Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, where he graduated in the top 2 percent of his class, presided over the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and was awarded the Mosby Prize for Academic Achievement. Dr. Greco completed his general surgery residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and was the recipient of the Burroughs Wellcome/AMA Fellowship and the Veteran's Administration Commendation for Outstanding Performance to the General Surgery Service. He then completed fellowships in hand surgery at the Hand Center in Philadelphia, plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Pittsburg, and aesthetic surgery at the Manhattan Eye and Ear Hospital in New York. Dr. Greco is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery, with a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Hand Surgery.
